About Dr. Knight

Dr. Caleb Knight has worked professionally since 1989 in American educational and clinical settings and has been practising since 1996 in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the surrounding region. His experience also includes university level teaching in psychology and special education.

Dr. Knight’s current work involves providing service to children, families and teachers in multi-cultural settings in international schools and Kindergartens.

Dr. Knight is a Registered Psychologist with the Hong Kong Psychological Society and a Certified School Psychologist (USA). He is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists (USA) and the British Psychological Society. He is currently an adjunt faculty member at the University of Wisconsin – Superior Department of Special Education where he teaches summer and extension courses. He has been an adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Southwest Louisiana department of Psychology and Western Oregon State University department of Special Education.

Dr. Knight has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders (including Asperger’s syndrome) as well as problems with mood control such as anxiety and anger management. He has published articles in peer reviewed national journals in America on child assessment issues and presented findings of his research on social skills training with children with Asperger’s Syndrome at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association.
